Itinerary Hue Cooking Class
09h00 AM: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel by motobike to start the tour. You will have the opportunity to see the rice fields, some family temples and local markets on the way to the Thanh Toan village when you are behind a scooter.
Coming to Thanh Toan tiled – Roof bridge, one of the oldest wooden bridges in Vietnam was built in 1776 by Mrs. Tran Thi Dao, the wife of an old Mandarin of the Nguyen family. You will walk around in this area and visit the Agricultural Tools Museum with many old tools which were used on the rice field in the old days. Here, you will know the old methods to plant the rice, cut the rice, catch the fish…from the old lady spent a lot of time working as a farmer. Take a rest and enjoy refreshment on the Thanh Toan Tiled-Roof Bridge before going to the cooking class in a small farm garden.
11h30 AM Our driver will drive you to the small Farm garden to join Hue Cooking Class with two special dishes in Hue: Va Tron Tom Thit (Fig Salad with shrimp and pork) and Nem Ran (Fried Spring Rolls)
The English Speaking Chef will explain why he / she chooses these dishes to instruct you and how to cook these with many ingredients. And he / she will be ready to explain to you anything you want to know, no more secret at Hue Cooking Class.
After finishing cooking class, you will enjoy what you have just cooked and also enjoy some more food like Vietnamese daily meals: white rice, fried vegetables with garlic, soup, braised chicken with lemongrass and chili and fruit for dessert.
01h00PM: After enjoying your lunch, our motobike driver will take you back to your hotel and finish the tour “Hue Cooking Class”.
